Minoan, circa 1600-1100 BC A gold openwork earring comprising a hollow crescent with radiating triangles of granulation surrounded by nine ovoid bulbs with double-volute filigree frames; the clasp a bar with annular terminals. Gold, 5.72 grams, 27 mm (1") UK private collection, acquired in the 1950's.

Very fine condition.
