Italo-Corinthian, circa 7th-5th century BC A ceramic creamware aryballos with bulbous body, narrow neck, small handle and thick everted rim; to the rim a thick black ring, to the neck a band of radiating strokes, to the body a procession of three hoplite warriors with large round shields, spears and helmetted heads; concentric circles to the underside. Ceramic, 90 grams, 67 mm (2 1/2") Ex Austrian collection formed from 1950-1980's.
