Roman Silver Swan-Neck Spoon

Circa 4th century AD A fabricated silver spoon with piriform bowl, spike handle and scrolled openwork junction with rib beneath; hatched decorative motif to the forward end of the upper face. Silver, 48 grams, 20 cm (8") Ex Miller collection. This item is accompanied by an XRF ancient metal test certificate from Oxford X-ray Fluorescence Ltd.

Very fine condition.
