Circa 1st-3rd century AD A mixed group of military fittings comprising: an openwork peltoid plaque with scrolled detail to the interior, pierced lug above; a cat pendant, leaf-shaped with pointed extensions, two piercings and suspension mount above; an openwork belt mount, leaf-shaped with central amphora and recurved tendrils flanking, clip to rear. Bronze, 65 grams, 50-56 mm (2-2 1/4") Private collection, Wigan, UK; acquired prior to 2000. [No Reserve]
