Circa 1st-2nd century AD A bronze strigil with scooped and curved blade, the handle formed with rectangular-section bar and recurved loop running parallel, terminating in a tongue-shaped plate affixed with two integral rivets. Bronze, 115 grams, 27 cm (11") Property of a European Gentleman living in London; acquired in the UK before 1980. [No Reserve]
