Circa 1st-2nd century AD A cast bronze miniature bust of Athena in Corinthian helmet with fleshy features and deep-set eyes, the hair drawn back to a knot behind, chiton to the shoulders. Bronze, 26 grams, 33 mm (1 1/4") Property of an European Gentleman living in London; acquired in the UK before 1980. [No Reserve]

Extremely fine condition with superb facial detail. Rare.
