Circa 1st-2nd century AD A cast lead plaque, possibly votive, depicting two gladiators in combat on a baseline, each with a large scutum, articulated manica, gladius and combed helmet. Lead, 60 grams, 61 mm (2 1/2") Property of a Hampshire Gentleman; found Calne, Wiltshire, UK in the 1980's. [No Reserve]
