Circa 6th-10th century AD A set of bronze balance scales comprising two discoid dished scale pans connected by three chains to a round-section arm and pointer attached to the square-section suspension shaft with open display slot at the lower end. Bronze, 120 grams, 27 cm (10 1/2") Silk collection, London, UK; formed in the 1950's. [No Reserve]
