Catalogue of the Jewellery Greek, Etruscan and Roman in the Departments of Antiquities British Museum, item 2803. Gold, 27 grams, 69 mm (2 3/4") The property of a London City Gentleman acquired in Europe during the mid-1900's. The Hellenistic styles of ornament continued in production in the provincial workshops of the Eastern Roman empire into the 4th century AD and later.
