Circa 2900-1250 BC A cast bronze openwork finial formed as a pair of opposed ibexes rearing on an annular base; the animals' forepaws are joined to continue the circular socket formed by the hips and base. Bronze, 110 grams, 13 cm (5") Property of a London Gentleman; acquired before 1985.
