Bronze Age, circa 2600-1900 BC A ceramic idol in buffware fabric, formed with D-shaped headdress, ribbed above, and impressed eyes; the arms bent and hands on the hips; to the neck a three-band collar and annular pendant; the lower body conical. Ceramic, 57 grams, 93 mm (3 3/4") Acquired on the UK art market in the 1990's. [No Reserve]
