Hallstatt Culture, circa 8th-6th century BC A mixed group of bronze neck-rings each formed from a rod twisted about its own axis, with coiled terminals. Bronze, 120 grams, 12-16 cm (4 3/4-6 1/4") Property of a European Gentleman living in the UK; ex private collection formed in the 1990's. Hallstatt style torcs derive from these prototype forms worn during the later Bronze Age. [3]
