Iron Age Celtic Torc with Flattened Terminals

Circa 1st century BC-1st century AD A torc or neck-ring formed from a split rectangular-section bar twisted about its own axis, with flared triangular terminals, decorated with notched borders, repousse bosses, punched-point ornament and pierced close to the outer edge. Silver, 40 grams, 15 cm (6") Property of a London Gentleman; acquired before 1985.

Very fine condition.
