Iron Age Celtic Bronze Mount

Circa 1st century BC A cast bronze openwork mount formed as a circular band enclosing spokes formed as three hexagonal shields with discoid bosses, each boss with a verrtical crease; supplied with a custom-made display stand. Bronze, 80 grams, 73 mm excluding stand (3") Ex Dutch collection, acquired between 1960's and 1990.

Very fine condition.
