Circa 1st century BC-1st century AD A group of Iron Age artefacts comprising: a bronze fibula formed as a continuous rod, with integral spring and cone terminal; a silver finger ring with snake-head terminals; an enamelled bronze disc brooch with central roundel to a red field within a hexagon with roundel to each angle on a green field; a bronze triskele mount with integral attachment peg. Bronze, 27 grams, 20-52 mm. (3/4-2") Private UK collection, by descent from the vendor's father, who formed his collection in the 1970's-1980's. Part of this collection was previously sold at Bonham's Antiquities sale 17855, 6 October 2010, Lot 199; and in TimeLine Auctions June 2011 sale. [4]
