Circa 2nd century BC-1st century AD A mixed group of bronze artefacts comprising: a dress pin with bird finial; a round-section toggle; a cotton-reel toggle; a dress pin with dish terminal; a collared buckle loop; a woad grinder. Bronze, 59 grams, 33-108 mm (1 1/2-4 1/4") Private UK collection, by descent from the vendor's father, who formed his collection in the 1970's-1980's. Part of this collection was previously sold at Bonham's Antiquities sale 17855, 6 October 2010, Lot 199; and in TimeLine Auctions June 2011 sale. [6, No Reserve]
