Circa 1st century BC and later A group of two restrung bead necklaces comprising: one of discoid 1st century BC Roman beads in shades of white, cream, pink, tan and blue; one of tubular white clay beads with carnelian seed bead spacers and blue faience pendant beads in the shape of rosettes, 8th-10th century AD; modern clasps. Stone and faience, 85 grams, 41-50 cm (16-19 1/2") UK art and antiquities market, acquired prior to 1990. [No Reserve]
