An undated cast gold plate brooch formed as two opposed peltoid cavalry shields with volute scroll ornament; pin-lugs, pin and catchplate to the reverse. Gold, 6.44 grams, 28 mm (1") Property of a Middlesex Gentleman; acquired in the early 1980's.
