Near Eastern Large Bronze Repousse Bowl

A large undated sheet-bronze bowl with repousse design of a central boss surrounded by a band of eleven impressed piriform radiating leaves and a similar outer band facing inwards; the sidewall steep and the rim a shallow flange. Bronze, 1.7 grams, 44 cm (17 1/4") Acquired on the London art market in the 1960's. [No Reserve]
