Circa 10th-11th century AD A cast bronze dress pin of tapering round section with headplate formed as a cross pommee; below the headplate, a pierced lug with suspension ring and D-shaped pendant with three loops below; the headplate silvered with geometric decoration; the pendant with silvered border and six silvered annulets reserved against the field. Bronze, 43 grams, 20 cm (8") From an important West Country collection. [No Reserve]
