Circa 5th-6th century AD A mixed group of cast bronze radiate-headed bow brooches comprising: one with D-shaped headplate and seven bulbs cast in the half-round, shallow bow, lozengiform footplate with lappets, bulbous finial, pin-lug and catchplate to the reverse; one tinned with D-shaped headplate and five bulbs cast in the half-round, flat bow, scrolled footplate, two pin-lugs and catchplate to the reverse. Bronze, 23 grams, 58-59 mm (2 1/4") Ex David Winter collection, Kent. [2]
