Circa 9th-11th century AD A mixed group of bronze belt mounts comprising: one heart-shaped flat plate with pelletted border and fleur-de-lys motif; eight cast bronze heart-shaped convex plates with similar decoration. Bronze, 22 grams, 16-21 mm (1/2-3/4") Ex Brenchley collection, Essex, UK; acquired in the 1980's. [9, No Reserve]
