Circa 18th century AD or earlier A silver-gilt figural mount depicting a seated figure of Christ in a flowing robe with right arm extended and left arm cradling a cross-headed sceptre; the face round, bearded and with shoulder-length hair; a radiating nimbus surrounding the head; the figure supported on a cloud; supplied with a later velvet-covered wooden stand; Spanish provincial workmanship. Silver-gilt, 450 grams, 23 cm including stand. (9") Silk collection, London, UK; formed in the 1950's. [No Reserve]
