Circa 15th century AD A delicate gold finger ring with D-section hoop and decorative lancet panels to the shoulders and elliptical bezel; the shoulders bearing the text 'vere velim' in blackletter script; the bezel with motif of robed and crowned female figure with a wheel in her left hand; English workmanship. Gold, 1.90 grams, 18.51 mm (approximate size British K, USA 5 1/4, Europe 9.95, Japan 9") (3/4") From an old Yorkshire collection; acquired in the 1960's.

Extremely fine condition. Rare.
