Circa 15th-16th century AD A cast gold finger ring with foliate decoration to the hoop; the bezel an openwork plate formed as two interlaced heart motifs. Gold, 2.29 grams, 18 mm (approximate size British I, USA 4 1/4, Europe 7.44, Japan 7") (3/4") Found Hampshire, 1985; ex Alex Cotton collection.
