Circa 15th century AD A fabricated dress pin formed with a round-section silver pin, four silver-gilt notched square panels to the head, each with a garnet in a claw setting; above this a dished foliate plate and silver dome with notched surround and central knop. Silver-gilt and stone, 3.07 grams, 62 mm (2 1/2") Property of a European Gentleman living in the UK; ex private collection formed in the 1990's.

Very fine condition.
