Circa 14th-15th century AD A cast bronze stamp seal with discoid base, hexagonal stem and pierced knopped handle; the seal design to the underside a regardant lamb with flag within a circular border; around this, the legend 'ECCE AGNUS.DEI' ('Behold, the lamb of God!'") in Lombardic script; supplied with a clay impression of the seal. Bronze, 9.40 grams, 23 mm (1") Found near Norwich, Norfolk, UK. [No Reserve]
