Circa 14th century AD A cast bronze harness mount and pendant; the mount with a human mask above and hinge below; the pendant with octofoil outline bearing a heater shield with pelletty field and central escutcheon. cf. Read, B. Metal Artefacts of Antiquity items 444-6. Bronze, 15 grams, 49 mm (2") Private collection, Nottinghamshire, UK; found Norwich, Norfolk in the 1990's.

Fine condition. Rare.
