Circa 13th-14th century AD A harness mount formed as an ornate suspension bar and shield-shaped pendant; the bar with two holes for attachment rivets and central rosette motif with three leaves above the pin lug; the pendant a heater shield with remains of a red enamel peacock or similar charge; traces of gilding to the bar. Bronze, 28 grams, 61 mm (2 1/2") Ex Pask collection, found South Cambridgeshire, UK.
