Circa 16th century AD A terracotta floor tile with yellow glaze design comprising a quarter-circle band with Lombardic capital M outside, heater shield within and blackletter script 'Intr dns' (... dominus") within the band. Ceramic, 675 grams, 12 cm (4 3/4") Private collection, UK; acquired in the 1990's.
