Circa 18th century AD A substantial gold finger ring with plain barrel-section hoop with inscribed text to the inner face in two lines 'Seing god hath made of two but one ~ Let nothing part but deth alone'. Gold, 8.82 grams, 22 mm (approximate size British S, USA 9, Europe 20.0, Japan 19") (3/4") Property of a London Gentleman; acquired before 1985.

Extremely fine condition. Extremely rare, large wearable man's ring.
