Circa 17th century AD A scale-tang knife comprising an iron, triangular-section blade and octagonal-section bronze handle expanding to the rear with bands of ribbing and hatching, and three rivets to secure them to the blade; small knop to the rear face. 15 grams, 18 cm (7") Tucker collection, Buckinghamshire, UK; formed in the 1980's. Found on the Thames foreshore adjacent to The Globe Theatre. [No Reserve]
