Circa 16th century AD A pipe-clay figurine depicting a bearded man in 16th century dress, with a long hood and mantle, standing on a plano-convex base; in his left hand a sack slung over his right shoulder; in his right hand a broom; supplied with a brief report on pipe-clay figurines from the monastery of St. Winnoc at Bergues (N. France"). 70 grams, 93 mm (3 3/4") From an important West Country collection; found East Anglia, UK.
