Stuart period, circa 17th century AD A set of carved rectangular wooden panels comprising: two large panels with chamfered undersides, foliate carving; a block with slotted and chamfered upper edge, foliate carving; a block with slotted upper edge and moulded top to face, foliate carving; two square blocks with rosette carving and two moulded edges; two long panels with slotted upper and lower edges, moulding to one edge and band of foliate carving to the outer face. Wood, 2.8 kg, 9-42 cm (3 1/2-16 1/2") Property of a Sussex Gentleman; acquired before 1990. [8]

Very fine condition.
