Circa 12th century AD A cast bronze model of a standing bird with discoid base, piriform body and tail with incised feather detail, curved neck and erect head with elaborate crest; Khorasan workmanship, supplied with custom-made display stand. Bronze, 100 grams, 14 cm including stand (5 1/2") Ex Dutch collection, acquired between 1960's and 1990.

Very fine condition.
