Islamic Glass Bead Strings Group

A group of translucent glass beads of globular, biconical, tubular and disc profiles, some in very pale shades of blue, pink and green. Glass, 845 grams, 50 cm (20") Property of a London collector, acquired early 1960's. The glass beads are mostly of North African origin and mixed date, ancient through to 19th century AD. The opalescent beads are of Bohemian origin. [8 strings, No Reserve]
