Gandharan Large Stone Buddha Statue Head

Circa 2nd century AD A carved greystone head of the Buddha with detailed hair and browband with seated figure above the brow; provincial workmanship; supplied with custom-made display stand. Stone, 26.6 Kg, 56 cm including stand (22") From an old private English collection; bought London in the 1950's.

Very fine condition.
