Silver Inlaid Bidriware Bowl

Circa 17th century AD A blackened Bidriware vessel with hemispherical bowl and pedestal base; to the outer face of the bowl silver-inlaid rosettes between roundels with addorsed bird designs; above and below, bands of silver-inlaid calligraphic script on an arabesque field; a further band of silver-inlaid calligraphic script on an arabesque field to the base. 825 grams, 19 cm (7 1/2") UK art and antiquities market, acquired prior to 1990.

Very fine condition.
