Tang Dynasty, 618-906 AD and later restoration A ceramic figure of a horse with blanket and saddle, the head inclined to the left, the tail docked and recurved; the eyes and mane painted in black and the saddle in ochre; mounted on an integral rectangular base; the underside hollow. Ceramic, 2.0 kg, 30 cm (11 3/4") Property of a London Gentleman; acquired before 1985.
