Ordos Culture, circa 6th-2nd century BC A cast bronze figurine of a lion with one forepaw raised, with incised spiral detail to the flanks, recurved tail and grimacing face; the base rectangular; the tail's finial leaf-shaped and pierced. Bronze, 52 grams, 39 mm (1 1/2") Acquired on the London art market in the 1960's. [No Reserve]
