Circa 19th century or later A squat vase in pale blue glaze with painted blue decoration; the base conical with applied running scroll design; the body bulbous with lug handles, each formed as a dog's head with a ring in its mouth; the body with painted quadruped motifs surrounded by artefacts with ribbons; the neck with a geometric fretted band, six characters to the front. Ceramic, 2.7 kg, 20 cm (8") Acquired on the London art market in the 1960's. [No Reserve]
