Antique Russian brocade purse. This purse is made of beautiful antique Russian brocade and lined with silk. A pearly and silvery colored floral pattern decorated the exterior. Two original change purses can be found inside. This purse was part of a collection produced by Hammer Galleries from brocades used in the Imperial Russian chapels of the Romanoff family. An original description from Hammer Galleries is included. The inside of the purse and small change purses are all marked with the Hammer Galleries insignia and "Made from Imperial Russian Brocade."
