Set of ten Louis XVI style dining chairs consisting of (2) arm chairs and (8) side chairs in mahogany, the curved rectangular backs with bowed crest rails mounted with ormolu fleurettes, ormolu framed upholstered backs, bow front seats with rails framed by two bands of ormolu, on turned tapered and fluted legs. The two arm chairs with padded arm rests and applied ormolu acanthus leaves. Provenance: Nathaniel Byron, Dallas, TX; Private Collection, Dallas, Texas. Arm chairs: 46"H x 23.5"W x 21"D; side chairs: 44"H x 20.5"W x 19"D, Circa - 1900.
