Here are 3 Naval issue gilt coat buttons from the Civil War era. The design features an eagle with anchor, two with stars and one with laurels. They are gilt, with original coat backing. One is marked "JACOB REED'S SONS, PHILA." Another is marked "N.S. MEYER, NEW YORK." The last is marked "WATERBURY BUTTON CO. They are approximately 18 mm in diameter. They are in very good to excellent condition.
