These are 3 small size gilt coat buttons from the Civil War era. The design features an eagle with shield and stars. They are gilt, with original coat backings. One is marked "HORSTMANN BROS. & CO., PHIL." One is marked "EXTRA QUALITY." One is unmarked. They are approximately 5/8 inch in diameter. They are in good to excellent condition.
