Cesar Navarrete: Cesar Small - Size: 5.5" x 4.5" - This smaller Mimbres-inspired fish pot is a superb piece from Cesar. Cesar is married to the youngest daughter of Felix Ortiz. Felix, who years ago received a stipend from a wealthy American, was one of the first potters in Mata Ortiz during the 1970s. Cesar and his family live in Barrio Porvenir, right down the street from his uncle, Macario Ortiz.
