Description

Chinese hand carved inkstone slab in Zitan wooden box. Has etched calligraphy design to ink slab and box citing poetry from famous Chinese poet Huang Tingjiang (1045-1105). Slab measures 9" length x 5 3/4" width x 1" depth (22.8cm x 14.6cm x 2.5cm). Box measures 10" length x 6 5/8" width x 2 3/8" height (25.4cm x 16.8cm x 6cm). Total weight of 2959 grams.
