Condition reportIn very good restored condition. The ebonizing has been refreshed. The brass and tortoise inlay exhibits several areas of past restoration. The top exhibits a few round spots of raised/bubbled finish, near the back edge, where somet sort of solvent appears to have dripped. Tight and structurally sound. The door opens smoothly. The door exhibits one piece of raised brass strining, approximately 3 inches long. The central inlaid door panel is missing an irregularly-shaped piece of brass, about 2" in diamater. The area has been colored-in with brass-toned paint and is not readily visible.
