Pierre Jules Mene (French, 1810-1879), "The Arab Falconer" patinated bronze group, signed in the base "P.J. Mene" and the backside touchmarked "701", h. 30", w. 29", d. 10".

Handsome lot in generally good condition. Deep brown/bronze patination with fine detail. Very minor scattered rubbing. The falcon with a well-integrated professional repair to one wing. Small loss to the end of the tether, one rope on the saddlebag separated. The gun barrel and stock slightly bent. There is a small gilded saddle embellishment on one side.
