Co., Providence, Rhode Island, the flattened pear-shaped body with shaped rim and oval foot rim, both with applied rococo scrolls, with acanthus-mounted and -crested "S"-scroll handle, monogrammed on the body "RME", h. 10", l. 9-1/2", w. 4-3/8", 35.43 t. oz.
Overall Condition: Very Good. No condition issues noted beyond light surface wear consistent with age. Good detail on the floral engraving opposite the monogram (visible in the online illustation). Marked (on the underside) with the Whiting "W-griffin" trademark above "Sterling / 6439 / 5 Pints" and a cross (resembling, but not corresponding to any of the known Whiting date codes.)
